HANSAINVEST Real Assets GmbH has acquired the PM² logistics portfolio in the Netherlands, which comprises two properties. The seller is Dudok Logistiek Vastgoed, part of the Dudok Group located in Dordrecht, which was advised by Cushman & Wakefield, Schaap Advocaten Notarissen and EY. The buyer was advised by TLF real estate, Baker & McKenzie and Antea Group.
The portfolio’s first property, comprising two hall sections, is leased long-term to a renowned German company following a complete renovation. The property is located in the largest individual logistics park in the Netherlands and has excellent connections to all relevant transport routes.
The second property is situated in the Maasvlakte logistics park and thus in one of Rotterdam’s four famous logistics sub-markets. The logistics property completed in October 2018 has four sections and will be equipped with a photovoltaic system. An initial long-term lease has already been concluded.
Nicholas Brinckmann, Chairman of the Management of HANSAINVEST Real Assets, says: “The Netherlands is in second place in terms of global logistics performance and is distinguished by its geographical location as an ideal hub for all companies exporting to Europe. In addition, we expect logistics to continue rising in significance and thus further increase the demand for space in this sector.”
